“ I can’t rate the atmosphere because my review is for their catering service, which is amazing! I am new to the area and so pleased to have found my “go-to” caterer. They catered Easter dinner and were able to accommodate exactly what I requested and offered some excellent suggestions. Delivery was timely and all the food was well packaged and easy to heat, as needed and all of it delicious! My guests had comments such as “next level” and all vied to bring home some leftovers. Lakin and her team are absolutely wonderful. ”

The chef came out and personally talked to us about our meal and we told him there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and my papaw said that it was the best meal he’s had in a long time! Everyone was so nice! I love the atmosphere and the local art! If you ever need a place to eat, hangout, study, or anything come here! Make sure you go to the bookstore as well! ”

“ This place is beyond amazing! It’s a bookstore on steroids. How do I even begin? When I first walked in, I saw local kid made items, puzzles and beautiful cutting boards. Then a display case of yummy homemade treats. They had soaps and homemade little book earrings (I got a Stephen King one!). For the aspiring artist, they had watercolors, acrylics and paint brushes. All very reasonably priced! The paintings on the walls were a thrill for me to see, painted by a local artist Elias Reynolds. Books galore throughout with wonderful little sitting areas to sit and enjoy. They even have a kids section which was so fun and beautifully decorated. NOW onto the food! My chicken salad on a croissant was so good and my daughter in laws omelet was spot on! Excellent, friendly service. Definitely will be back! ”

“ What a cool place!? This hidden gem is nestled in a cozy nook of Ashland. The fresh farm to table food was just what I wanted. The check was surprisingly low for such fresh food and a beautiful atmosphere. Really cool indoors apxe with a nice patio. Did I mention there's a bookstore AND a bar? What a unique and awesome place. Definitely recommended! The bookstore itself is beautiful and surprisingly expansive. They have an eclectic and encompassing selection with cozy places to sit and sample your read. Not to mention you can read, eat, and drink at the same time. Seriously, what a great idea. I'm only mad that I didn't come up with it first! Very cool! ”
